Some of the most important moments in our lives don’t look important at the time.
They’re quiet. Ordinary. A paw resting on your leg. The way your horse leans into you. The soft nudge of a nose asking for attention. The way your pet looks at you like you are their whole world.
Your camera roll is probably full of them; thousands of photos.
But how many of those include you, too?
I didn’t always understand how much those shared moments mattered, until I realized how few photos I had of myself with one of my own greatest loves.
Now, I photograph connection the way I wish I had back then: intentionally, honestly, and with heart.
Because one day, these won’t just be photos.
They’ll be everything.

I had the BEST experience with Caroline. I didn’t have any good photos with my dog Rex so when an opportunity to have her photograph us arose I was thrilled. She is amazing with animals! She knew exactly how to talk to him, brought treats that definitely kept him interested, and was so much fun to be around (Rex thought so too!). She knew when he was getting bored so would switch it up to get the best shots of him doing what he loved at the time. The photos are AMAZING and I am going to treasure them forever.
