Some of the most important moments in our lives don’t always seem important at the time.
They’re quiet. Ordinary. A hand reaching for yours. The way your dog settles beside you. Salt on your skin after a morning in the water. Bare feet in the sand. The people you love laughing at something you’ll probably forget the details of.
Your camera roll is probably full of them; thousands of photos.
But how many of those include you, too?
I didn’t always understand how much those shared moments mattered, until I realized how few photos I had of myself with some of the things I loved most.
Now, I photograph connection the way I wish I had back then: intentionally, honestly, and with heart.
The people. The animals. The places. The little moments that make up a life.
Because one day, these won’t just be photos.
They’ll be everything.

I had the BEST experience with Caroline. I didn’t have any good photos with my dog Rex so when an opportunity to have her photograph us arose I was thrilled. She is amazing with animals! She knew exactly how to talk to him, brought treats that definitely kept him interested, and was so much fun to be around (Rex thought so too!). She knew when he was getting bored so would switch it up to get the best shots of him doing what he loved at the time. The photos are AMAZING and I am going to treasure them forever.
